Hi, I'm Sana — I make SugarBerry by hand, in small batches, because I believe skincare shouldn't need a chemistry degree to understand.
The Spark
A close friend came to me with rough, irritated skin — every store-bought scrub she'd tried was either too harsh or full of ingredients neither of us could pronounce. So I mixed raw sugar, cold-pressed oils, and crushed berries in my own kitchen. One jar. No brand, no label — just something that actually worked.
Word Travels
She told two friends. They told their sisters. Within a few months I was hand-labelling jars at my kitchen table every weekend, packing orders between college assignments, and learning what 'halal-certified' and 'chemical-free' really meant to the people trusting me with their skin.
Growing With Care
Every batch is still small enough that I taste-test the texture myself before it ships. We added body butters, then masks, then lip balms — always the same rule: if I wouldn't put it on my own skin, it doesn't leave the kitchen.
